Accessorizing is always fun. My favorite part of putting an outfit together is choosing the right jewelry to go along with it! Brides and bridesmaids have an especially fun opportunity when it comes to weddings. Simple or sassy? Monochrome or mismatched? From hairpieces to purses to shoes, everything can be coordinated to fit the bride or bridesmaid's styles.
Our first piece of advice: let the bridesmaids decide! Brides should have some say in the matter of course, but letting your 'maids choose their accessories can give them the opportunity to let their personalities shine. Especially if everyone is wearing the same dress, having the bridesmaid find their own accessories will give them some options. Give your 'maids some guidelines, like pearls over crystals, so you won't have any crazy surprises. You can decide if you don't want bracelets, or if you want everyone in stud earrings, but let them choose the final details!
Not only is choosing accessories fun for the bridesmaids, but it can help with their budgets. Making the final decisions on accessories can allow bridesmaids to save money if they want, which can take pressure off their wallets. You can also turn the accessorizing into a fun bridesmaid bonding event! Gather your 'maids and explore some boutiques or craft stores for accessories they can buy or even make themselves.

Advice for Accessorizing Bridesmaid Dresses
Simple is elegant. The mantra "less is more" works for your bridesmaid jewelry too! If you have an especially detailed or patterned dress, adding jewelry will just distract from it. You don't want to overdo it! There is nothing wrong with a simple necklace or only choosing to wear a pair of earrings. (Plus it can be a lot easier to wear modest jewelry again after the wedding).
What is the bride wearing? If she is wearing a chunky pearl necklace, you can complement her with your own strand of pearls. If possible, don't mix metals. If the bride is modest in her jewelry choice, try to mimic her style so you don't accidentally clash or overshadow her.
What is the color of your bridesmaid dress? Some metals go better with certain colors than others. Blush bridesmaid dress? Rose gold is a beautiful pairing! Wearing slate blue? Silver is a perfect choice!
What are you doing with your hair? While there are no written rules, there are a few common jewelry and hairstyle pairings. If you go with an updo style have fun with elegant dangling earrings! If you leave your hair down, choose stud earrings. (This also helps avoid your hair getting tangled in your earrings). And don't forget about hair accessories! A simple sparkly barrette or hair clip can add a lot. Floral hair pieces or crowns can also be fun as well, but make sure you have the bride's approval first!

How to Style Different Dress Necklines
Maybe most important of all, what is the neckline of your bridesmaid dress? Here are a few guidelines we like to follow:
Strapless or sweetheart necklines:
Strapless dresses provide you with a lot of fun options! For strapless dresses like Olivia or Poppy, we like statement necklaces. If you do go with a statement necklace, pair it with stud earrings. Or, choose dangling earrings and a bracelet. Choker necklaces are more than just a fad right now too. Pair a classy choker with your strapless dress, or even double it up with another longer necklace. The opportunities with strapless dresses really are endless!

One shoulder necklines:
For our one shoulder bridesmaid dresses like Brielle or Hannah, we suggest leaving the necklace at home. The one shoulder style is already cute enough, and a necklace might be too much. Instead, choose simple earrings and a cute bracelet!

V-neck necklines:

A simple pendant necklace adds a cute touch without distracting from you and your dress. I personally love pendant necklaces that you can personalize with initials and different charms. Halter necklines:
For halter dresses (my favorite is Violet), we suggest totally leaving the necklace out. Halter dresses don't usually allow for a necklace, so instead choose drop earrings and a bracelet!

Sheer/illusion necklines:
